Member – Student Centers Advisory Committee
Campus Enterprises Mission: Campus Enterprises is NC State University’s division of retail and hospitality organizations — NC State Dining, NC State Stores, Lonnie Poole Golf Course, NC State Student Centers (Witherspoon and Talley), and the One Card Office. Each department is dedicated to providing service excellence, value and enrichment of the student experience in support of academic success.
Purpose: NC State Students Centers creates memorable experiences for all students, guests and alumni at NC State. We strive to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for the NC State community. In support of the university’s educational mission, we serve as a cornerstone for student growth, learning and involvement through the highest quality service and facilities.
Compensation: Students will start at a tier 2 at $12 per hour.
In addition, eligible students will receive longevity raises based on years of service within Campus Enterprises. Student Centers employees earn free meals and are eligible for an end-of-semester bonus of up to $200.
Locations: Talley Student Union
Work Schedule: 1-2 hours per week Monday-Friday

Essential functions and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Attend and actively participate in monthly SCAC meetings
- Report project progress to SCAC Lead
- Assist in the recruitment and retention of SCAC members
- Compose suggestions, recommendations, and feedback towards NC State’s Student Centers from a student perspective
- Service as advocates for the overall student experience, voices, and opinions
- Help shape decision making for NC State Student Centers
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Remain in compliance with NC State Student Centers student employee policies and expectations at all times
Essential Qualifications
- Current NC State University student with a flexible schedule
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work with and manage a team
- Elevated oral and written communication skills
- Willingness and ability to support other functions of NC State Student Centers
- Attend mandatory staff meetings, student employee orientation, and training sessions
Campus Enterprises Employee Expectations

- Arriving early for shifts
- Having on a complete uniform
- Clocking in and clocking out in a timely fashion
