The Student Centers Advisory Committee (SCAC) serves as the voice of students by providing feedback and recommendations that help shape the future of Talley Student Union and Witherspoon Student Center. Through surveys, focus groups and assessment projects, SCAC helps ensure Student Centers continue meeting the evolving needs of the NC State community.

The Student Centers Advisory Committee is currently conducting a seating census throughout Talley Student Union. Committee members are collecting data on seating availability and occupancy to better understand how students use the building throughout the day. This initiative will help identify usage patterns and opportunities to improve the student experience.
By systematically gathering seating data, SCAC aims to identify peak usage periods, understand how spaces are utilized and inform future decisions about space planning and resource allocation. The findings will help ensure Talley Student Union continues to meet the evolving needs of the NC State community.
